The Diffuser Oil comes in three different fragrances that are inspired by the three elements found in nature.
Kiyobi (Fire) -
Peppermint/Hiba/Hinoki/armoise
kiyobi is inspired by the "Fire" element. The fragrance starts with a cool tone of peppermint, followed by the soft green undertone of armoise (Yomogi). Then it gradually shifts to the gentle note of Hiba, ending with the tranquil tone of Hinoki.
Nukubai (Earth) -
Yuzu/pepper/sandalwood/tones beans
nukubai is inspired by the "Earth" element. The fragrance starts with the sour and spicy note of Yuzu, then it morphs into a sweet and peaceful note as it brings serenity.
Tetsukon (Water)-
Japanese pepper/ginger/hinoki/cedar wood
tetsukon is inspired by the “Water" element. The soothing note of Japanese pepper comes on, then it shifts to the woody note of Hinoki and Cedarwood. The pure integrity of the fragrance maintains its steady course with a hint of spiciness.
Some fragrance notes appear and fade immediately. Then there are the low notes that continue to linger. The Diffuser Oil for the Pottery Stone Diffuser offers a multi-tiered ensemble of fragrance. Our perfumers excel at blending science and art. Their sensibility has a huge effect on how the fragrance transforms through time. There is the scent that rises as soon as the oil hits the stone. Then once the oil seeps into the stone, the fragrance starts to slowly radiate, and it goes through a subtle change from the top note to the last note. We at Nippon Kodo are masters of this artistry.
