Please bring your broken ceramics

Kintsugi (also known as Kintsukuroi) which loosely translates to 'Golden Joinery' is the age-old Japanese art form of repairing broken ceramics in a way that is often considered more beautiful than when it was when whole. This ancient technique is a true celebration of 'Wabi Sabi', the aesthetic appreciation of the broken, old or disregarded.

We'll take you through an easy step by step instructions on how to piece back together with your broken ceramics with lacquer and gold powder.

There are few things that I’d like to ask you to prepare for the workshop.

- a broken ceramic (no complicated one to fix - ideally 1 to 3 broken or chipped pieces )

- a box to take back your repaired ceramics or you can leave them at the store as it takes 1 weeks to dry completed lacquer we use.

* Please tie up your hair if you have a long hair
*The large armhole top wouldn't be suitable for this session so please wear something that is either tight fit or sleeves that you can roll up easily

•private lesson on request

On request, we are also available to run the Kintsugi workshops on location for private functions and corporate events.
