YARN nz partner with farms that respect animal welfare and make sure that they can trace every material they use back to its original source.

Our Merino wool
Merino wool is beautifully soft and luxurious - a natural super-fibre that is perfect as your base layer. The individual fibres are extremely fine, meaning that it is supremely soft directly against the skin. It is anti-static so it won't cling to your skin and it doesn't attract lint or duct. It provides excellent UV protection and is naturally fire-resistant. Merino wool naturally absorbs and releases moisture to keep you dry and comfortable. It has the unique ability to stabilise body temperature and naturally suppress odour.
The sheep that supply ZQ merino live a free-range life, eating fresh grass and breathing the clean mountain air of the South Island.
